2006 Cycle-Smart Cyclo-Cross Camp - Northfield |
|||||||||||
| |
The camp's unique attraction lies in its beautiful setting, fun atmosphere, and mix of skill levels and personalities. Not to mention the opportunity to learn and practice skills with some of the best 'cross racers in New England. "Adam Hodges Myerson passed along one tip about 'cross starts that was worth the entire price of camp alone! No matter what level racer you are, camp will fit into your agenda. " (Chris Mayhew, former camper)
Cycle-Smart coaches will provide hands-on instruction in training and technique for cyclo-cross, with an aim towards a 1:5 coach:rider ratio. Full vegetarian meals and lodging will be provided. The cost of the camp includes entry in the the Northfield Cyclo-Cross race on Sunday, where skills learned over the weekend can be put to use and evaluated after the race.
The camp is open to riders of all ability levels, although everyone must have a USCF or NORBA license. Unlicensed riders can purchase a license at the camp for an additional charge.
This year Cycle-Smart is offering a special level 4, 3-month training program to accompany your experiences at the 'cross camp. This individualized training program is aimed to take your experiences at the camp and build on them during the course of the Fall 'cross season.
